“SPRING’S SACRED LANDSCAPE: Awakening Our Creativity for New Beginnings”
A Weekend Retreat for Coaches, Coach Supervisors, Leaders and People Professionals
On Friday 2nd to Sunday 24th of March 2019
at Tofte Manor, Souldrop Lane, Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, MK44 1HH
….With the advent of Spring, in community we emerge from our winter hibernations to sow and plant anew…
Join us! In their new offer, Elaine Patterson and Karyn Prentice call upon nature’s Sacred Landscape to guide, inspire, and supervise us as we emerge from the dark depths of Winter into the gentle light of Spring. This retreat will help to prepare the ground that will enable you to sow the seeds of new potential and new beginnings for the months ahead.
Elaine and Karyn are drawing on their latest writings and thought leadership to invite you to step into Mother Nature and into what it means to be fully human. You will awaken your creativity, inner wisdom and agency to plant the seeds for new or renewed intentions, which will blossom over the coming months. New materials and new experiences will be offered to enrich you and which you can also propagate within your own practice.
Come prepared to reflect, design and create what is needed by you and from you so that you can plant and sow with courage, compassion and clarity. This is a companion to the “Autumn Equinox Retreat: Harvesting the Abundance” which focuses retrospectively on sorting the wheat from the chaff from the year’s harvest.
“Being Fully Human”
Advanced CPD and Group Supervision for Coaches, Supervisors and People Professionals
Starts as groups naturally come together.
Beyond the practical, technical and rational there is an ever-present connecting field of our shared humanity. This is the field that as leaders, coaches, coach supervisors and people professionals, we now need to fully occupy and embody to support our clients in our VUCA world. In response to this call, Elaine Patterson has designed the “The 7Cs: The 7 Human Capacities for Change, Learning and Transformation”.
Elaine has defined the 7 core human capacities and qualities of Care, Courage, Curiosity, Compassion, Connection, Creativity and Contemplation as a foundational and life long journey. These create the space and spaciousness in which professionals thrive, change and flourish. We can then role model these for the clients whom we serve.
These key capacities have been crafted in the heat of Elaine’s own life and work and are grounded in her research into reflection and reflective learning. They specifically address the stresses and strains of working in our VUCA world. This is a powerful new navigational map that enables us to bring our shared humanity to work. A map to help us to underpin our humanness: WHO we are, WHO we are becoming, HOW we work, WHAT we role model and the DIFFERENCES we can make – large or small – to the world through our work.
